The Economic Development Division of the City of Berkeley, is responsible for administration of the City’s Economic Development Resources. Some of the tools available to qualifying business or individuals are:
- Tax Increment Financing (TIF);
- Neighborhood Improvement District (NID);
- Community Improvement District (CID);
- Missouri Chapter 353 Redevelopment Area;
- Missouri Chapter 100 Redevelopment Area;
- Missouri Chapter 99 Redevelopment Area;
- Transportation Improvement District (TDD);
- Brownfield Tax Credits;
- Federal Enterprise Zone;
- Federal Empowerment Zone; and
- Sales Tax Rebates
