Police Chief's Message

Welcome to the City of Berkeley Police Department

The City of Berkeley Police Department is staffed by highly trained professionals whose primary mission is to provide quality services to the citizens and businesses of our community.  The department is responsive to community needs by incorporating “Community Oriented Policing”, (C.O.P.s), Neighborhood Watch and currently finalizing the organization of our “Community Emergency Response Team”, (C.E.R.T.).  It is my belief that success is a unified team composed of all resources and entities within our scope of operations.

The City of Berkeley Police Department is composed of extremely dedicated employees.  These employees consist of Commissioned Police Officers, Certified Communications Specialist, “Dispatchers”, Administrative Personnel and Correctional Officers.  All personnel participate in, but not limited to, mandated training as required by the State of Missouri.

It is our intention to do our part in ensuring everyone that The City of Berkeley is definitely a “Planned Progressive Community”.

I would like to officially invite you to visit our facility and voice your concerns to myself or any member of my Command Staff.

If there are any questions or if we may be of any assistance feel free to contact me.

Colonel Frank McCall, Jr.

Chief of Police
